The integration of traditional medicine, also known as alternative medicine, is demanded by various groups of people in our societies not as a replacement but more as an accompaniment. Most of us are still quite skeptical about the idea of mixing standard medical procedures with the ancient arts of healing. Yes! There is no doubt that the word ancient is compatible in this sense since there are some methods that can be dated 4000 B.C. first and foremost, I would like to give a quick definition of alternative medicine and how it was used and also mention such types of alternative medicines that’s been in use and still until this day.
So what is alternative medicine?

Traditions of rare teachings typically support its medical modalities. Such modalities range from acupuncture and Taichi’s ancient Eastern practices to herbal medicine, Reiki, chiropractic manipulation, and more. These services are often used interchangeably with the term “alternative medicine,” a designation created in the 1800s that distinguished these modalities as “alternative” to allopathic medicine ( western medicine).
